Welcome 2016 RBPC participants!
The Rice University Business Plan Competition is the world’s richest and largest graduate-level student startup competition. It is hosted and organized by the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship, Rice University's nationally-recognized initiative devoted to the support of technology commercialization, entrepreneurship education and the launch of technology companies, and the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business, the #6 Best U.S. Graduate Entrepreneurship program per the 2016 Princeton Review ranking.

In its 16th year, 42 teams from around the world will compete on the Rice University campus April 14-16, 2016 for more than $1.5 million in cash and prizes in front of over 300 judges, primarily venture capitalists and other investors.   More than 750 teams applied to compete in 2015 and the competition was supported by more than 130 sponsors.   More than 169 past competitors have successfully launched their business after competing at Rice, are still in business today or have successfully exited, and have raised more than $1.5 billion in capital and exit dollars.
